Why did you decide to join Kennedys?

As someone starting out in their career, when the opportunity arose to join a global law firm, I didn’t hesitate in accepting as the firm aligns with my values and it was a very exciting prospect.

What do you enjoy most about working for a global law firm?

I have exposure to a multitude of colleagues across the globe which allows me to learn about the diverse work that we do for our clients in multiple jurisdictions. Kennedys encourage employees to work in other offices across our network and I am very fortunate that I had the opportunity to relocate from our London to Dubai office!

How does Kennedys support you in your career?

I have worked at Kennedys for over seven years and have held different roles, starting in events and moving into a business development and client development role. Kennedys care about their employees personal and professional development and give us the ability to explore new opportunities and career paths.

What advice would you give someone interested in starting a career in business development?

Take the time to build and nurture relationships and never be afraid to ask questions. Make sure that you are always providing an excellent service to your internal stakeholders and clients and regularly seek out feedback. When working within business development it's important to be flexible and open to new approaches.
