Tom works in Kennedys’ Research and Development department. He works closely with our Head of R&D, and with the team’s developers, data scientists and the rest of the business. Tom also helps to manage our innovation workflow globally.
He was one of the founders of our incubator programme, Kennedys Ideas Lab, which Tom helped establish and develop. He now manages the Ideas Lab process, helping our employees make a difference to clients through their ideas. Tom helps transform ideas into client focused prototypes.
In addition, he helps shape the design of current and future technology products and product manages a number of the technology solutions within the Kennedys Toolkit. He ensures those products are a success for our clients.
Previously a lawyer in our Commercial department, Tom also acts as legal counsel for the R&D group. He oversees the licensing of our technology products and advises on legal issues around development (including data protection and IP).
Tom trained and qualified as a commercial lawyer, with contentious and non-contentious experience. He then founded and launched his own legal tech startup, focused on contract automation. The combination of legal knowledge and technology experience makes Tom uniquely placed to help drive the development and growth of Kennedy’s client-facing technology portfolio.
