Kennedys CMK promotes four to partnership
We are pleased to announce that we have promoted four attorneys to our partnership in the United States, taking our worldwide partner count to 271.
Those promoted to the partnership of Kennedys CMK – as we are known in the US - with immediate effect, are Jillian Dennehy, Frank Falcone, Daniel Pickett and Elizabeth Sutton.
- Jill is based in our Basking Ridge office. Her practice focuses primarily on a broad range of insurance coverage issues, including construction environmental, product liability, toxic tort, errors and omissions, professional liability and employment claims. She has been lead counsel on a number of significant insurance coverage matters involving cutting edge issues such as trigger, allocation, equitable contribution and late notice. A graduate of Villanova University School of Law, Jill is admitted to practice in both New Jersey and New York, and has been with the firm since 2011.
- Frank is a graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law, and has extensive experience litigating complex insurance coverage and commercial disputes in state and federal courts across the country. He also handles employment discrimination claims, wage and hour claims, trade secrets/restrictive covenants litigation, and works closely with employers to develop and administer personnel policies. Frank has spent his entire legal career with the firm, joining in 2010, and is based in our Basking Ridge office.
- Dan has been with the firm for over eight years and represents a number of domestic and international insurers in complex commercial coverage disputes concerning policies relating to property, casualty, professional, aviation and directors’ and officers’ liabilities; as well as financial institutions and fidelity liabilities. Based in our Basking Ridge office, Dan is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School and has been named a New Jersey Super Lawyers ‘Rising Star.”
- Beth, a graduate of Villanova Law School, who is based in our Philadelphia office, primarily focuses on insurance coverage analysis and complex commercial litigation matters. She represents clients in federal and state courts throughout the country on matters relating to environmental, toxic tort, professional liability, construction defect, bodily injury claims, and flood insurance claims. She has been with the firm since 2013 and was recently named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers ‘Rising Star.’
I am thrilled to welcome Jill, Frank, Dan and Beth to the partnership. A key element of the Kennedys culture is ensuring that people have clear routes to progress their careers, and following the merger I am glad to see this continues to be reflected in the US.
Nick Thomas, Senior Partner at Kennedys
It is particularly pleasing to see the progression of these four to our partnership. All of them have excellent reputations and are highly regarded and valued as trusted advisors by our clients. The global nature of the insurance market has seen our clients, and the US offices, benefiting from the expertise of our expanded network since the merger last year and we look forward to continued growth.
Chris Carroll, Partner, Kennedys CMK
Following our merger last year with Carroll McNulty & Kull, we have seen targeted growth in the US, with strategic lateral partner hires in our Chicago and New York offices, enhancing our expertise in financial lines including in matters concerning the Bermuda Market. This was further complemented by the establishment of a Bermuda office in October.
Last month, we announced that we had boosted our healthcare and employment practices in Australia with a nine-strong team from TressCox to our Melbourne office, and also welcomed a commercial litigation team to our office in Lima, Peru.
