POSTPONED - Recent data privacy developments in Asia-Pacific
Both morning and lunchtime sessions on 13 June are now CANCELLED and will be postponed to a later date. Details of the rescheduled seminars will be announced in due course.
Data privacy laws are getting stricter throughout APAC. Several countries are introducing new laws and strengthening existing laws, and there is a trend towards adopting features of the EU General Data Protection Regulation, such as mandatory breach notification, record-keeping requirements and enhanced rights for individuals. This seminar will look at the current data privacy landscape in APAC, and take an in-depth look at recent developments across the region.
We will be hosting two seminar sessions (morning and lunchtime) on Thursday 13 June 2019. As seats are limited, registrations will be accepted on a first come first served basis.
CPD is being applied for and will be accredited by The Law Society of Hong Kong.
