How should your business respond to a data breach? Which data privacy laws apply to it? How should you respond to the breach? Which countries do you need to notify the breach in? What is the potential for regulatory action and claims?

This seminar examines these questions through a lighthearted hypothetical. Kennedys’ cyber expert Nicholas Blackmore and the audience will help Jackie Chan’s long-lost brother prepare for and respond to a serious cyber incident (and hopefully have some fun along the way). The seminar will include discussion of how the GDPR can apply to a Hong Kong business, both before and after a data breach.

We will be hosting two seminar sessions (morning and lunchtime) on Wednesday 10 April 2019. As seats are limited, registrations will be accepted on a first come first served basis.

CPD is being applied for and will be accredited by The Law Society of Hong Kong.
