Heidi is a partner based in the Sheffield office, having qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 1996.

Heidi specialises in employers’ and public liability having a full range of experience in both pre and post litigation issues working for large self-insured organisations, public sector, insurers and third party administrators (TPA’s).

In her work with local authorities she and her team have extensive knowledge of all relevant legislation applicable to these areas of liability and with particular reference to the New Roads and Street Works Act, the Highways Act and Latent Damages Act 1986. She handles simple to complex injury claims, property damage claims and all types of quantum loss claims.

Additionally Heidi manages the Ministry of Justice employers’ and public liability portal for a major UK insurer. She manages her own caseload of complex and high value claims, both pre litigation and litigated, for a number of clients including insurers, self-insured businesses and brokers.

Heidi also heads up the Kennedys Costs team with assistance from three senior associates. The team provide a complete costs service to both the firm and the firm’s clients.

In addition, Heidi advises her clients in relation to risk management issues, claims prevention and the provision of relevant management information.

Heidi is a member of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers.
