David is a Legal Director in our London office, having joined Kennedys from another international law firm.

David’s insurance practice encompasses complex matters arising from professional indemnity, directors’ and officers’ and financial institutions policies. He specialises in the defence of solicitors and advising insurers on coverage issues and policy response. David contributes to Kennedys’ and external publications and gives seminars to clients on a range of topical and legal issues.

David has significant experience of complex, high value and commercially sensitive matters, acting on coverage in respect of substantial claims concerning accountancy firms, solicitors firms, design professionals and entities insured under directors’ and officers’ and financial institutions policies. David also acts in the defence of high-value claims against firms of solicitors, structural engineers, design professionals, quantity and monitoring surveyors, development managers and cladding/fire safety contractors.

David is a member of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers (FOIL).
