Tracy is a Partner in the Healthcare Team of the Hong Kong office. She is dual qualified in Hong Kong and England and Wales since 2005. She has extensive experience advising Medical Protection and its members (doctors and other healthcare professionals) on a range of health law issues, defending complaints and disciplinary proceedings before the Medical Council of Hong Kong and criminal allegations and investigations. She represents clients in mediation and coroner’s inquests. She also defends a wide range of clinical negligence claims on behalf of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority.

She has experience acting for claimants in multi-million dollar obstetric cases against private hospitals and doctors, which provides her with unique insight from both sides in legal proceedings when advising clients.

Tracy advises private clinics and insurers on healthcare regulatory matters, including on personal data privacy, complaints to the Consumer Council and other regulatory bodies and on risk management.

She has also advised and represented life sciences and pharmaceutical companies in commercial disputes, complaints handling and regulation of market practices.

An Accredited General Mediator on three panels in Hong Kong, with a special interest in alternative dispute resolution, Tracy has made active contributions in the consultation process for the enactment of the Apology Ordinance in Hong Kong. She is a member of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre and Hong Kong Mediation Accreditation Association Limited.
