Frank is a partner at in our Edinburgh office where he heads up our professional indemnity team in Scotland. He qualified in 2001, and joined Kennedys in 2015.
Frank acts for insurers and brokers, small and medium enterprises and charities and has extensive experience of litigation before the Supreme Courts in Scotland and he has also appeared on behalf of clients in the Sheriff Courts.
Frank has acted in aviation matters for insurers for many years in relation to personal injury cases and is well versed in the statutory regime and case law in this specialist area. His particular specialism, however, is professional negligence disputes, and he has significant expertise in defending claims against solicitors, accountants, architects and surveyors.
He has been instructed on a number of high profile and complex claims, often with an international element.
He is a member of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers, Law Society of Scotland, Association of Regulatory and Disciplinary Lawyers, WS Society and Honorary Consul for the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
