Safinaz is an Associate in Kennedys’ Copenhagen office. She qualified in Denmark in 2014 and was admitted to the High Courts in Denmark in 2019. Safinaz joined Kennedys in Copenhagen in 2019.

Safinaz has worked in litigation since qualifying and is specialized in insurance law and tort law. She has represented insurers and local authorities in relation to personal injury cases in general (e.g. compensation for physical injury and complex calculations of temporary and permanent loss of income), product liability, employers’ liability, motor liability, professional liability and recourse.

Since Safinaz joined the Copenhagen office she has also been working with D&O claims, professional indemnity (PI) and cyber and data risks.

Safinaz is also employed as an external lecturer at Copenhagen University. In 2014/2015 she taught law students in tort law in an insurance law perspective and is currently teaching in civil procedure.

Safinaz is a member of the International Insurance Law Association (AIDA), the association for Compensation and Insurance (FEF), the Pan European Organisation of Personal Injury Lawyers (PEOPIL) and the Danish Association of Litigation Attorneys (Foreningen af Procedureadvokater).
