Philadelphia partner hire for Kennedys boosts insurance capabilities

We are pleased to announce the addition of insurance coverage attorney Louis Kozloff.

With over 20 years’ experience in the insurance field, Lou represents insurers in coverage and bad faith litigation, and regularly advises insurance industry clients on a wide variety of coverage issues, including directors’ and officers’, errors and omissions, general liability, marine and extra-contractual exposure matters. He joins as a partner in our Philadelphia office.

Lou graduated from Dartmouth College in 1993 and University of Pittsburgh Law School in 1998, and has experience in both private practice and in-house, having served as Chief Litigation Counsel at Harleysville Insurance Company. He is widely regarded as a thought leader in the field and is frequently called upon to speak and write on emerging insurance coverage issues.

It has been two years since we merged with Carroll McNulty & Kull (CMK). During that time we have significantly strengthened our US insurance practice and global capabilities through a number of prominent lateral hires, most recently with the addition of Maurice Pesso and Greg Steinberg as partners in our New York office.

In June we reported strong financial growth which has been supported by a 12% increase in headcount across our offices in New York City, New Jersey, Chicago, Philadelphia, Austin and Miami.
