Kennedys nets Meadowhall site for Sheffield United

We are pleased to confirm that we have secured a new retail site at the Meadowhall Shopping Centre for Sheffield United Football Club.

It is the Club’s second retail site and the first to be situated away from its Bramall Lane stadium. The Club has taken an initial short-term tenancy which will be fitted-out to allow it to be open in time for Christmas trading.

Angela Bhaseen, a senior associate in our Manchester office who acted for Sheffield United Football Club Limited to secure the tenancy, says: “It was a pleasure to be able to help our long-standing client secure these premises in iconic Meadowhall which will be a huge hit with fans. It’s also another example of Kennedys’ full commercial service to clients.”

United's head of commercial, Paul Reeves, added: "We are delighted to be extending our retail operation to Meadowhall, as the club continues to invest in its retail infrastructure.
