Kennedys in Australia announces partner promotion in Melbourne

Kennedys in Australia is delighted to announce that experienced healthcare and medical malpractice practitioner Anjali Woodford has been promoted to partner, effective 1 May 2020.

Anjali joined the firm in 2018 as special counsel, and is a senior member of Kennedys large healthcare team in Melbourne, working alongside partner Cindy Tucker. Anjali represents insurers, medical practitioners, health professionals and public and private hospitals in complex civil law injury claims, disciplinary investigations, and coronial investigations and inquests.

Managing partner of Kennedys in Australia, Matt Andrews said that a key element of the Kennedys culture is ensuring that our best and brightest have clear routes to progress their careers.

Anjali's is one of 13 internal partner promotions announced this week by Kennedys — a further 8 are based in the UK, and 4 in the US. The appointments cover a range of practice areas including commercial, employment and healthcare, as well as specialist areas of insurance and liability including cyber, property and construction, professional liability, travel, abuse and fraud. Kennedys’ worldwide partner count is now 263.
