Frank is a partner in our Edinburgh office where he heads up our professional indemnity and commercial litigation teams in Scotland. He qualified in 2001 and joined Kennedys in 2015.
Frank acts for insurers and brokers, small and medium enterprises and has extensive experience of litigation in the Court of Session, Sheriff Courts and Tribunals.
His particular specialism is professional negligence disputes, and he has significant expertise in defending complex claims often with an international element against accountants, architects and surveyors.
He has regularly instructed in a wide range of commercial disputes particularly claims for breach of contract.
Frank has also acted for many years in aviation matters for insurers and airlines in relation to personal injury and other passenger claims and is well versed in the statutory regime and case law in this specialist area.
He is a member of the Law Society of Scotland, the Association of Regulatory and Disciplinary Lawyers and the WS Society.
In 2018, he was appointed to the Law Society of Scotland’s Nominations Committee.
Since 2009, he has been an Honorary Consul for the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
