Dive In Festival 2020
Dive In Festival 2020 - Dive Into Disrupting Racism in the Insurance Industry
We are very pleased to once again be a global partner of Dive in, the international festival for diversity and inclusion in insurance.
As a local festival partner in New York Kennedys has been involved in the organisation of this NYC panel discussion which will galvanize action amongst a group of people in the insurance industry that need to be woken up and to stay awake. There is acknowledgment that over the years the ERGs, White Papers, CEO Action letters and Philanthropy have had marginal impact on the insurance industry’s commitment to create a more inclusive and diverse work environment. We have not moved the needle to improve diversity in our workforce and create an environment where all employees feel they can bring their full selves to work.
Our moderator, Joelle Murchison has 10 years of insurance industry experience leading diversity & inclusion initiatives. She will facilitate a conversation that will connect learning from Darrell Ezell, Ph,D. - social scientist, consultant, connector and strategist and listening from Matthew McCarthy CEO at Ben & Jerry’s – a leader in corporate activism and social responsibility. Our Insurance Industry leaders LeAnne McCorry from Aon and Elaine Rocha from AIG, will share Broker and Carrier views on the actions they led to advance diversity and inclusion, the impact they have had on their businesses, and the action they commit to in an effort to disrupt racism.
If you would like to ‘attend’, you must register your attendance on the Dive In Festival events portal.
