Navigating corporate crime: How the Serious Fraud Office is driving change for businesses

Kennedys are delighted to host a seminar at our London office on Thursday 2 October, where Iskander Fernandez, Partner and lead of Kennedys’ global White collar crime and investigations team, will be joined by guest speaker Sara Chouraqui, Head of Fraud, Bribery and Corruption at the Serious Fraud Office (SFO).

Sara leads and oversees many of the SFO’s most high profile and significant cases. She has practised as a defence lawyer and qualified in the UK, US and France. She joined the SFO in 2019. 
We will engage Sara in discussing:

•    The failure to prevent fraud offence.
•    The SFO’s revised corporate guidance.
•    The SFO’s position on cross border corporate crime in light of the US’ recent decision to dilute the impact of remit of the FCPA’s international remit.
