Michael Tatham

Michael is a Senior Associate in Kennedys’ Sydney office specialising in litigation within the shipping and logistics space as well as marine insurance with over 10 years’ experience.

Michael is a dual qualified legal practitioner admitted to practice in South Africa and Australia. Michael practiced law in South Africa from 2017 to 2022 specialising in litigation within the shipping and logistics space. In 2022, Michael moved to Australia and joined a local Sydney firm within their transport, shipping and logistics team.

Michael’s practice also includes customs, logistics and supply chain related claims as well as non-contentious work surrounding shipping and logistics, including commercial/ contractual drafting and industry related advice. In addition, Michael has a keen interest in international trade law and sanctions compliance.
