Lydia Heffron

Lydia is an Associate in Kennedys’ Sydney office within the Healthcare team. Lydia acts primarily for private and public hospitals, health professionals and medical service providers in the defence of claims brought against them.

Prior to joining Kennedys, Lydia was an Associate in one of Northern Ireland’s leading commercial law firms where she specialised in Healthcare and Insurance Litigation. Lydia has significant experience acting for healthcare regulators in the investigation of cases alleging misconduct against healthcare professionals and defending clinicians in high value clinical negligence claims. Lydia has also experience defending insurance matters relating to motor/credit hire, employers’ liability and public liability claims in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
