Ellen Ryan

Ellen is a Senior Associate in Kennedys’ Sydney office. She has extensive experience advising and representing local and international insurers on coverage and defence work across a broad range of insurance lines. Her expertise focuses on complex coverage issues concerning financial lines, professional indemnity, directors’ & officers’, management liability and construction policies. Ellen is passionate about the class action landscape and complex policy construction issues.

Ellen also has vast experience as defence counsel acting for professionals (such as accountants, financial advisers, solicitors, barristers, health professionals) in disciplinary and negligence proceedings, including class actions. Ellen’s experience includes defamation and fraud.
