Bolu Chen

Bolu Chen is an Associate in Kennedys’ Sydney office. She has a broad practice spanning public liability, institutional liability and property damage claims. Bolu acts for insurers and insureds across a range of litigated matters, with experience in multi-party disputes arising from construction and occupier liability incidents. She advises on liability, quantum and indemnity, and regularly prepares pleadings, coordinates expert evidence and assists with strategic claims management.

Drawing on her experience acting for both defendant and plaintiff clients, Bolu adopts a pragmatic and commercial approach in representing insurer and institutional clients, with a focus on achieving efficient and practical outcomes.

She has worked as a note-taker supporting students with disabilities at the University of Sydney and mentors junior law students through the University of Sydney Law Society.
