Lance Tay

Lance is a Senior Associate in Kennedys’ Singapore office and is dual-qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales as well as an advocate and solicitor in Singapore. He has extensive experience advising and representing clients in dry and wet shipping disputes, including those related to charterparties, bills of lading, commodity/bunker sales and purchases, shipbuilding, and marine casualties, with experience in both Singapore and London arbitrations. He also has experience with two International Group P&I Clubs, including a secondment to their local and international offices.

Lance graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with First Class Honours from the National University of Singapore, where he also earned a distinction in the shipping module for the Carriage of Goods by Sea.
