Aishwarya Arumugham

Aishwarya is an Associate in Kennedys’ Singapore office with experience in disputes, and both commercial and family litigation. She has acted for a broad mix of clients, including companies, directors, high-net-worth individuals and private clients. Her commercial experience primarily involved complex, high-value disputes, such as audit negligence claims, breaches of directors’ duties, fraud and misappropriation of assets, cryptocurrency theft, and cross-border enforcement issues. She has also assisted with applications in the Singapore High Court and handled matters involving multi-party coordination and extensive documentary evidence.

In addition, Aishwarya has managed several family law matters, including international parental child abduction under the Hague Convention, relocation applications, and matrimonial disputes involving substantial asset pools. These matters strengthened her ability to handle sensitive issues, manage client expectations, and communicate legal strategy clearly to clients facing emotionally difficult circumstances. Aishwarya has also had some exposure to litigation, regulatory issues and corporate advisory work.

Aishwarya is also fluent in English and Tamil, with basic proficiency in Chinese.
