Chalisa Sims is an associate in the Seattle office.
Chalisa’s practice focuses on coverage and litigation. Her prior experience representing policyholders gives her a well-rounded perspective on complex legal issues. She has developed a strong track record of delivering strategic solutions to complex nationwide coverage matters and litigation.
She has experience with complex litigation, including motion practice, briefing, discovery management, drafting coverage opinions and reservation of rights letters, and preparation for trial and arbitration. Chalisa has represented global insurers and re-insurers to anticipate emerging coverage issues and develop strategies to address them.
While in law school, Chalisa clerked for the Wisconsin Department of Revenue and was a Todd A. Berry Fellow with the Wisconsin Policy Forum, where she focused on public policy research.
