Helen Tang is an associate in the San Francisco office and a member of the Cyber and Data Privacy team. Her practice focuses on advising clients on data protection, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence governance. She is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional in the United States (CIPP/US) through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

Prior to Kennedys, Helen worked at a law firm where she focused on privacy, artificial intelligence governance, product counseling and startup legal issues. 

During law school, she served as a legal extern and law clerk at several leading high-tech companies in Silicon Valley, as well as at a premier applied science laboratory within the US Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration.
