Elizabeth (Beth) Dolter is special counsel in the San Francisco office, where she advises domestic, European and Bermuda-based insurance companies, as well as numerous syndicates at Lloyd’s, London, on coverage and claim handling issues. 

With over 30 years of experience, Beth focuses her practice on third-party coverage, including professional liability, excess liability, CGL and Bermuda Form policies. She has experience analyzing and litigating complex coverage issues arising out of professional liability including architects, engineers and lawyers, construction, environmental, cyber, sexual misconduct, elder abuse and product liability disputes.

Beth’s first-party work includes disability bad faith suits and property losses. She represents insurers in declaratory judgment and bad faith suits throughout California. In addition, she monitors architects and engineers claims, catastrophic loss claims including wildfires, and provides trial monitoring services for insurers.
