Spencer is an associate in the New York office, where he focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation. He represents clients across various commercial industries, including insurance, finance, employment, manufacturing, construction, real estate and entertainment. 

Spencer has represented clients in various matters including breaches of contract, breaches of fiduciary duties, unjust enrichment, negligence claims and employment claims for both employees and employers. He has represented clients in direct and derivative actions, as well as in proceedings seeking declaratory and injunctive relief. 

Prior to Kennedys, Spencer clerked for the Honorable Marcy Friedman and the Honorable Deborah Kaplan in the Commercial Division of the New York Supreme Court and later worked as principal court attorney for the Honorable Andrew Borrok in the same division. He began his legal career as in-house counsel for an insurance startup company.
