Marissa is special counsel and a member of the Financial Lines team. She represents foreign and domestic insurers in connection with complex coverage disputes involving major commercial and professional liability lines. Her practice focuses on matters related to directors and officers (D&O) liability, cyber liability, financial institutions coverage, errors and omissions (E&O) and other professional liability coverages.

Marissa’s practice includes advising insurers and resolving disputes related to underlying claims involving securities class actions, shareholder derivative actions, SPAC transactions, private equity disputes, cybersecurity and data privacy and regulatory investigations,, as well as bankruptcy and insolvency issues arising in the insurance context. She represents insurers throughout the entire life cycle of claims, from initial evaluation of coverage through dispute resolution and litigation in federal and state courts, and also provides litigation monitoring and dispute resolution services involving high stakes exposures.
