Elizabeth Soclof is an associate in the New York office. Her practice focuses on insurance defense litigation. 

Prior to Kennedys, Elizabeth served as an assistant district attorney in the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted hundreds of cases and negotiated favorable plea agreements, securing jail time and programming where appropriate. 

Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude,  from Yeshiva University, where she was a Dean’s List honoree each semester and received the Susan R. Nobel Wertentheil Memorial Award to a Prospective Law Student. She received her Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law on a Dean’s Merit Scholarship. 

During law school, Elizabeth served as staff editor on the Moot Court Honor Society and was awarded Best Brief in the Monrad G. Paulsen Moot Court competition. She also gained experience interning for a New York Supreme Court judge, at the United Nations, and at the Unites States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.
