Nicholas Phibbs

Nicholas is a Senior Associate in Kennedys’ Melbourne office specialising in insurance litigation and coverage. He has over 8 years’ experience acting for local and international insurers in both the casualty and financial lines space.

Nicholas started his career acting in subrogated recovery and defend motor vehicle disputes, property damage claims, Australia Consumer Law (ACL) actions, and small business debt recovery, in every jurisdiction in Australia. In many instances he would appear on behalf of his clients at trials and arbitrations.
More recently Nicholas has turned his focus to providing coverage advice and defending large complex construction, construction, engineering, and financial services claims.
