Rafael joined Kennedys' office in Madrid in April 2025, after spending previous years working for a major law firm in Spain in the area of litigation with a particular focus on the insurance and liability sector.

Rafael focuses on litigation, insurance coverage disputes and contentious claims, especially in the areas of tort law, construction, fire, and professional liability. Additionally, Rafael works on cases involving Directors and Officers (D&O) policies, providing support in coverage disputes and claims. He advises clients at the pre-litigation stages and out-of-court-settlements.

Rafael studied a Double Degree in Law and Political Sciences at Granada University and a Master’s Degree in Access to Advocacy at Córdoba University. He has also conducted complementary studies in the University of Lodz (Poland) and is member of the Córdoba Bar Association.
