Monica is an associate based in Kennedy’s London office. Monica qualified as a solicitor in Australia in 2021 and has specialised in workplace law including criminal regulatory defence work. This involves advising organisations and individuals following major workplace incidents. Monica assists clients during investigations that are conducted by Police, the Health & Safety Executive, Local Authorities, the Environment Agency and other regulatory bodies.
Monica has been involved in a number of health and safety prosecutions, as well as inquests and public inquiries. This involves defended hearings, pleas in mitigation and enforcement undertakings.
Monica has a breadth of experience in workplace matters, including employment law. This involves conducting workplace / whistleblower investigations, building and advising on policies and procedures, and commencing / defending proceedings.
