Jovana Vasiljevic

Jovana is a senior associate in our London office. She qualified in New South Wales, Australia, in 2012.

Jovana specialises in the defence of professionals, including barristers, solicitors, brokers, tax advisers, surveyors and others. She deals with a broad range of disputes, involving high value claims, multiple-parties, and cross-border issues.

For a number of years, Jovana worked at a leading insurance practice in Australia where she acted in defence of claims in the public liability, product liability and property damage fields.  Her experience included acting on behalf of NSW Government agencies in claims arising from physical and non-physical abuse.

Jovana has a strong interest in the community legal sector, having previously acted for refugees and persons seeking asylum in disputes against the Australian government and providing pro-bono legal advice. She was also the lead lawyer in a Coronial Inquest into the death of a young person, which resulted in important recommendations being made to the NSW Health Minister.

Qualifications:
