Emily is an associate based in Kennedys’ London office. She specialises in criminal regulatory defence work, advising both organisations and individuals following major workplace incidents investigated by the Police, Health and Safety Executive (HSE), Local Authorities, the Environment Agency, and other regulatory bodies.

In addition to her regulatory practice, Emily has experience in representing clients at inquests and public inquiries. Her work spans a broad range of industries, including construction, facilities management, utilities, logistics, healthcare, and hospitality. She acts for both public and private sector clients, as well as directors and other individuals requiring advice or representation in connection with criminal regulatory investigations and prosecutions.

Emily began her career in commercial and property litigation, gaining valuable experience in dispute resolution before returning to her core focus on criminal and regulatory work in 2023. She qualified as a solicitor in 2020.

Emily is also a Junior Officer of the Health and Safety Lawyers’ Association.
