Chanel Stylianou

Chanel is an associate in the London aviation team and qualified as a solicitor in 2023. Prior to qualification, Chanel undertook her qualifying work experience at a global Aviation firm established in London with a focus on claims brought under the Montreal Convention 1999, Regulation (EC) 261/2004, and in respect of breach of contract matters and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for various leading airlines in Europe.

Thereafter, Chanel practised as a solicitor at a litigation firm and continued to be instructed on multi-jurisdictional matters. Chanel also frequently collaborated with a magic circle firm to ensure a consistent approach to litigated claims across the globe for a shared multi-billion tech client.

Chanel has experience in managing ranging defended claims for major airlines in aviation, including injury claims, baggage claims, and non-insured airline defence work. Chanel frequently collaborates with foreign correspondent lawyers for claims issued outside of England and Wales in multiple jurisdictions, including India and Brazil.

Qualifications:

• Qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales in October 2023.
