Nadia is special counsel in the Houston office, representing domestic and international insurers, Fortune 500 companies and privately held businesses in complex commercial litigation and insurance coverage matters. With more than a decade of litigation and trial experience, she has tried cases to verdict in both state and federal courts, securing outcomes ranging from zero-dollar defense verdicts to resolutions exceeding nine figures. Her experience includes multi-party litigation, extended federal jury trials and high-exposure arbitration proceedings.
Nadia’s practice encompasses business and commercial disputes as well as first and third-party insurance coverage litigation. She advises carriers on sophisticated coverage issues, including allocation, priority of coverage and alleged extra-contractual exposure. Her experience spans CGL, commercial auto, excess and umbrella, D&O, E&O and professional liability, pollution, EPL, WC and EL and commercial property policies. She litigates coverage disputes nationwide and has represented clients in high-profile matters involving catastrophic losses, environmental claims and large-scale commercial exposures.
Outside of her work, Nadia is deeply committed to community engagement and leadership. She serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations, including The Landing and Risala Foundation and State Bar of Texas Women in the Law Committee. She is also board certified in Insurance Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

- Tried multi-week federal jury trials involving complex commercial claims and contract disputes, obtaining highly favorable results for clients.
- Obtained dismissal with prejudice under Texas Rule 91a on behalf of an insurer in a property-damage coverage dispute, eliminating all claims at the pleadings stage.
- Secured multiple summary-judgment victories for primary insurers defeating claims of bad-faith denial of the duty to defend.
- Secured summary judgment for an insurer on a breach-of-contract claim filed by a policyholder seeking indemnity for alleged contractual defense.
- Successfully defended major corporate and insurance clients in multi-party commercial disputes, including claims involving alleged product defects, environmental exposures and catastrophic-loss events.
- Obtained summary judgment on behalf of an insurance carrier in a declaratory judgment action concerning priority of coverage and the scope of the duty to defend between competing insurers.
- Achieved zero-dollar defense verdicts in state and federal court trials, as well as nine-figure settlements in complex commercial and insurance disputes.
