Tiffany is an Associate in Kennedys’ Asia-Pacific aviation team and is based in the Hong Kong office. She is qualified in Hong Kong and her practice focuses on aviation insured and uninsured liability matters, including major catastrophic losses, general incident response, commercial disputes and regulatory issues. Tiffany also advises insurers, airlines and other aviation industry clients on non-contentious matters, including aviation-related contracts and other commercial arrangements.

  • Acting for aviation insurers in:
    > an accident to a South Korean airline’s B737 which crashed upon landing at Muan International Airport, South Korea
    > loss to a Malaysian airline arising from the disappearance of a passenger flight on a B777 aircraft 
    > an accident to a Turkish cargo airline’s B747 which crashed upon arrival in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
  • Representing a new passenger and cargo airline in Hong Kong in connection with obtaining an Air Operator’s Certificate and licence from the Air Transport Licensing Authority.
  • Handling various passenger, cargo, hull and property damage disputes for aviation insurers and industry clients.
  • Acting for clients in aviation commercial disputes.
  • Advising on a wide range of aviation commercial contracts and arrangements, including Standard Ground Handling Agreements, Aviation Fuel Supply Agreements, intermodal services and pilot training bond agreements.
  • Assisting an Asian airline in launching operations to a new European destination.
