Shanaze Mustan

Shanaze is an associate in Kennedys’ property, energy and construction team, based in Bristol.

Shanaze has extensive experience acting for and advising a wide range of market leading insurers and their policyholders on property damage claims, from inception to litigation and through the settlement.

Shanaze specialises in high-value, technical and complex loss subrogated recovery claims across the full range of perils, including fires and escapes of water.

She also has experience in defendant liability and policy coverage work.

Shanaze joined Kennedys in January 2026, having previously gained extensive experience working within the property damage insurance legal sector since qualification.

Qualifications:

• Qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2017.
