Samantha Mercer

Samantha joined Kennedys as an associate in the catastrophic injury team in September 2025 and is based in the firm’s Bristol office.

She has 24 years’ experience in personal injury litigation, including over a decade specialising in complex RTA claims involving cyclists, pedestrians and motorcyclists, and more recently employers’ and public liability matters. Samantha deals with complex orthopaedic injuries, traumatic brain injuries, facial injuries, amputations and polytrauma claims, with values exceeding £1 million.

Having acted for both claimants and defendants, she brings a balanced and strategic perspective to her cases, with a strong understanding of the tactical, evidential and commercial considerations on all sides.
