Luke Knights

Luke commenced practice in 2016 at a large international law firm before moving to a specialist insurance law practice in 2019.

Luke regularly advises on material damage and business interruption, contract works, and public liability claims, and frequently acts as defence counsel on professional liability, statutory liability and public liability matters.  He also has extensive experience pursuing subrogated recoveries.

Luke has a well-rounded insight into insurance and dispute resolution. Before joining Kennedys, Luke was seconded to an international insurer and then by an underwriting agency operating in the local market.  He understands his clients’ drivers and always strives to provide them with practical,  commercially astute advice that gets results. 

When not at work, Luke enjoys spending time with his family and learning life’s lessons from his two daughters.
