Clare Johnston

Clare is a Corporate and Public Affairs Lawyer based in our London office. Clare started her career as a law lecturer whilst undertaking legal research in the field of technological innovations and their impact on data protection. Following this, Clare went into practice specialising in liability claims, and provided legal training to lawyers and clients.

In 2018, Clare joined Kennedys and is responsible for the global public affairs and thought leadership initiatives in the liability and commercial divisions. This involves examining emerging risks for clients, including the impact of legal and political shifts and providing valuable insights into the steps relevant stakeholders need to take to protect their market.

Clare has spent time working in Australia, is an Associate member of the ABI and an author for CLT and the Kennedys Practice Guides. Clare was recently appointed as an editorial board member for JPIL and is also a PhD candidate undertaking research into policy reform.
