Following the publication of Chambers USA 2021, Kennedys has seen some impressive rankings in the latest guide to leading law firms and lawyers across the United States.
Along with maintaining our top band ranking in ‘Insurance (New Jersey)’, we have received two brand new practice area rankings for ‘Insurance: Dispute Resolution (Illinois)’ and ‘Insurance: Dispute Resolution: Insurer (New York)’.
The go-to for big litigations…they come up with new ways to solve problems rather than going through the same old process.
In addition, a number of Kennedys partners have received individual recognition within the guide.
Christopher Carroll, who was reconfirmed as a Band 1 attorney for 'Insurance (New Jersey)' and received a new ranking for 'Insurance: Dispute Resolution: Insurer (USA - Nationwide)', was applauded for his “sophisticated knowledge of insurance issues with practicality and good judgment”.
Fellow Basking Ridge partner Meg Catalono was described as having “seen it all and can give advice on everything insurance-related”, with Kristin Gallagher praised by one client for being “everything I need in a lawyer – responsive, knowledgeable, and very strategic”.
To complete Kennedys’ Basking Ridge office accolades, Heather Simpson was recognised for being “absolutely excellent - she combines common sense with an eye for detail”.
In our Chicago office, James Hickey was described as “exceptionally knowledgeable in the coverage field and extremely practical in his advice. He is able to distill complicated issues into a more understandable format”. In addition, was lauded as “a great lawyer who is very experienced”.
Finally, in our New York office, John Blancett was recognized as a “key partner” in the firm.
