Kennedys Denmark opened in January 2016 following a merger with four-partner firm Advokatfirmaet Erritzøe.
Insurance specialist Anne Mette joined Advokatfirmaet Erritzøe as a solicitor in 2007 and had previously worked at the Danish law firm Kromann Reumert. She brings 15 years of experience across personal injury, workers’ compensation, life and pension insurance, professional indemnity and fraud cases acting for insurers, brokers and public bodies.
Since opening in Copenhagen, we have strengthened our headcount by 33%, adding three senior attorneys, an attorney and four junior attorneys to meet increased client demand and work volume. The eight additional joiners have boosted expertise in our financial lines, professional indemnity, public liability and casualty claims practice areas. The office now has a team of 32.
Nick Thomas, senior partner at Kennedys, says:
“I am delighted with the early success of our Copenhagen office. Anne Mette’s promotion to partner, along with the appointment of new attorneys across the business, reinforces our commitment to attracting top talent and growth driven by client need across the globe.”
Morten Erritzøe Christensen, managing partner at Kennedys Denmark, says:
“I congratulate Anne Mette on her much-deserved promotion to partner, particularly as we celebrate our first year as Kennedys Copenhagen. The office has gone from strength to strength since opening and we’re acting for a large number of global and domestic insurers on high-value claims.
“Our additional attorney appointments are strengthening our liability capability offering for clients and we are making a big impression in the Scandinavian insurance market.”
Earlier this month, we increased our presence in Europe through a formal association with Italian law firm Studio Legale Rinaldi Associati (RASS).
