Amanda is a senior associate in our Sydney office. She has a diverse caseload, with files spanning institutional abuse litigation, healthcare, public liability, product liability and coverage.

Amanda has extensive experience acting for religious institutions, domestic and international insurers, reinsurers, uninsured organisations and plaintiffs. Amanda has also advised clients on strategy, risk management and internal policies in relation to child safety.

Arising from her diversity of work and experience with both defendant and plaintiff clients, Amanda takes a pragmatic and commercial approach whilst representing insurer and institutional clients, securing many out-of-court settlements for her clients, where appropriate.

Amanda was named a finalist in the Lawyer’s Weekly 30 under 30 awards in 2022, for the categories of Insurance and Dispute Resolution & Litigation.

Amanda has authored the Australian Lawyers Alliance articles entitled ‘The level of detail required in pleadings against the Crown’ and ‘The level of detail required in pleadings: PWJI v The State of NSW’. Amanda also co-authored ‘Character applications before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal: Practical guidance for the conscientious practitioner’.
