Profile

Michele is an Associate in the dispute resolution team in Kennedys’ Bermuda office specialising in commercial litigation.

He has experience in a broad range of commercial, trusts and insolvency matters. Many of his cases include an international element, often in relation to the United States. He also has experience of high-value, complex litigation, including a matter where he worked as part of a multi-jurisdictional legal team and which involved a trial before the Supreme Court lasting several months and various appeals to the Court of Appeal and the Privy Council.  Recent cases have included a large shareholder appraisal matter, a claim against a company’s former officers based on the alleged theft and misuse of confidential information, a high-value multi-jurisdictional trust dispute, and advice on Bermuda law issues in relation to a Madoff feeder fund.

Prior to joining Kennedys, Michele worked for another leading law firm in Bermuda. Prior to that, he practised as a barrister in London.
