Global law firm Kennedys forms association with leading Polish law firm

We have formed an association with leading Polish law firm, KRK (Kieszkowska Rutkowska Kolasiński) in Warsaw.

KRK is top-ranked in the Polish market for its expertise across Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare. The firm also advises clients in other regulated sectors and is recognised for its product liability and competition law advice. Their work covers product safety, food and cosmetics, consumer law, intellectual property, data protection, as well as regulatory, compliance, litigation and arbitration.

The founding partners of KRK, Paulina Kieszkowska-Knapik, Ewa Rutkowska and Marcin Kolasiński, are supported by two partners and a team of 13 lawyers and one counsel.

Ben Aram, Partner and Global Head of Corporate and Commercial, Kennedys says: “We are delighted to be adding a firm of KRK’s calibre to our international network. We have worked with KRK seamlessly on a number of high profile matters and know that their areas of expertise and ways of working are complementary to our global client offering.”

Ewa Rutkowska, founding partner and Head of Product Law & Dispute Resolution, KRK says: “The association is not only another step in the development of our law firm, but also an extension of our global cooperation network for the benefit of clients. Kennedys and KRK share similar values and approaches to practicing law. We are very happy to support Kennedys’ clients with our Polish and EU regulatory and competition expertise, along with our dispute resolution capabilities.”

Andrew McGahey, Regional Managing Partner of Kennedys EMEA, adds: “We look forward to developing our collaboration with the KRK team as we continue to strengthen our capabilities across the EMEA region. There are strong synergies, so I am sure this will be a beneficial association for Kennedys, KRK and, importantly, our clients.”

The association was effective from 1 December 2023. We have 76 offices, associations and co-operations around the globe.
