Our Mexican office provides specialist insurance law services to local and international insurers and reinsurers, with expert advice based on a deep understanding of the Mexican insurance market. We provide advisory services to the industry, including coverage advice regarding exposures, and assist claims handlers in managing and defending claims.

Our experienced team handles volume cases, complex advice and class actions. Our expertise includes:

  • Litigation defence for (re)insurers before the Mexican insurance authorities and the federal and state courts
  • Coverage advice across the full range of (re)insurance products lines
  • Drafting clauses and policies
  • Subrogation
  • Regulatory advice.

Kennedys Mexico handles claims and litigation defence across all insurance risks, such as general liability, construction, property and energy, aviation, marine, financial lines including directors and officers, errors and omissions and professional indemnity, life and health, and medical malpractice.

We work closely with our network of Latin American offices and our Miami regional hub for the Americas. In addition we have an extensive network across Europe, Asia Pacific and the Middle East. We work together to provide a seamless legal service in Latin America and beyond.
